Description

Overview

This program puts the PXI-2593/PXIe-2593 into the Dimensionally Flexible Sparse Matrix configuration.

Description

The Dimensionally Flexible Sparse Matrix topology in the 2593 allows users to connect a variety of matrix configurations while minimizing capacitive load and RF stubs.  For more information about the benefits of this configuration, please see Advanced Signal Routing with the NI PXI/PXIe-2593 and NI SCXI-1193 RF Switches.  This program closes all the internal relays except for the ka0-ka15, which are the relays that determine which channels connect together.  Thus a user can input a list of channels to connect, and the program will close the corresponding kax relays in order to create a custom matrix configuration.

Steps to Implement or Execute Code

1. Set the Resource Name control on the front panel to the alias of your NI 2593 device

2. Select which channels you would like to connect

3. Run the program
