what is a contometer?

Doing a historical paper and need to know what a contometer is?? Any one remember back to analog days?

If you want the description of a contometer, it is a device used for soil conditions pertaining to grazing by bovine animals
If you want the description of a conptometer, it is a 90 key early calculator. The earliest manufactured one was by Marchant Calculators in 1911. They stopped producing them in 1961 when the company was known as Smith Corona Marchant in Oakland, California. The Marchant Conptometer was considered the cadillac of all manufactured models.
