can PXI 4462 to measure 1Hz geophone signal?

I have a PXI-4462 card and would like to measure a 1Hz and 5Hz geophone as below.

GS-1

Low Frequency Seismometer
Sensitivity: 3.0-15.0 V/in/sec
Coil Resistance: 450-17,400 ohms ± 5%
Bandwidth: 100 Hz

Is it possible for me to measure the signal? From my experience before, by using 4462 to measure low signal such as 4462, the signal is heavily attenuated. May be I have done it wrongly.

Correct me if I am wrong, do i need to select the DC coupling when using this 4462 to measure the 1Hz signal? Please advice.

Yes, you should choose DC coupling for frequenies below 22Hz, (see page 3 bottom and page 4 of the spec)

Yes, DC coupling should be fine coupled with the highest gain setting, but keep in mind the 4462 has a minimum sampling rate of 1 kHz. You may need to downsample or decimate if this is excessive for your requirements. On the other hand, with a bandwidth of 100 Hz a little oversampling can't hurt.
