NI-9234

Hello,

I am trying to compose a VI (LV2010) that takes data from a Ethernet based 9234/9163 and writes it to a file on my local hd. I can get the test panels to work, but as of yet have not been able to communicate with the 9234. Can someone point me in the right direction ?

Hello,

It sounds like you were able to locate the device on the network and reserve the device (in MAX) for use by your computer. (Let me know if you have not been able to do this) Once the device is reserved, you should be able to use the device in the same manner as a device that is directly connected to your computer. A good starting point for developing your application would be to find 9234 examples in the Labview example finder. You can add the 9234 and filter the results based on the hardware. (Lower left corner of the screenshot.)
