Getting Matlab Data Acquisition Tool Kit to send command to 4498 to send IEPE current

I'm using Matlab to control the 4498 but Matlab does not have the capability to tell the hardware to send current excitation to the piezo accelerometers.  Is there a way to do this with Matlab and not having to use an external signal conditioner (current excitation)?
