In the 9 months since we’ve launched Nigel AI, the Software Product team at NI has learned much about the intersection of Generative AI and Test & Measurement. Join us as we dive into how Nigel works with LabVIEW and TestStand and get a sneak peek at what’s coming up on the Nigel AI roadmap
19:00 - Aart-Jan van Zadelhoff - Building Progressive Web Apps (PWA) with LabVIEW
The following topics will be covered:
- A brief introduction to LabVIEW Web Services in combination with the NI Web Server
- API functionality versus a traditional website
- Deploying a website online, security and authentication
- Splitting an application into independent microservices
- An alternative routing mechanism to replace individual Web Service endpoint VIs
- Converting a website into an app for smartphones as well as PCs
- Making the app interactive (AJAX) without using JavaScript
- Moving towards reuse: content versus framework
Finally, I will discuss the challenges that I have not yet been able to fully resolve.
