Mediciones de corriente alterna

Solved!

Hola gomoo,

as this is an English forum you should write English messages - or use the Spanish forum…

My question is: What block of NI DAQmx could be used to measure alternating current and then electrical power? I currently have hall effect sensors that send 0-5 V and are capable of measuring 0-100 A, in addition to the NI-9239 module and a compactRio.

Usually the cRIO devices don't support DAQmx (only some new/recent types).

Usually you use either the ScanEngine or the FPGA inside the cRIO - both is explained in the example projects coming with LabVIEW(+RT+FPGA)…

To calculate power you also need to measure the voltage in parallel to current!

Best regards,
GerdW

Sorry for write in  spanish..   I have  a  recent  versión of  compact RIO (cRIO-9046), and I´ve done some programs like measure  AC voltage with  NI DAQmx and NI 9242. But now  I want to measure AC Corrent, thats why im asking for  what  bock of  NI DAQmx can use for this sensors because the output is 0- 5 VCD.

Hi gomoo,

what bock of NI DAQmx can use for this sensors because the output is 0- 5 VCD.

When the sensor outputs a voltage signal then you can still use the voltage reading…

(You may apply a scaling to the voltage reading to convert the values into the corresponding current values.)

GerdW

Hi gomoo,

read the manual of your sensor...
