CanOpen libray, SDO protocol help

We are working with the Compact Rio, need to implement CANOPEN's library for this device, nowadays there is no a library specifies that it does it, is because of it, that we wish implement a library similar to the one that has Labview but for Compact Rio. Looking at CanOpen's specification, two types of SDOs are described, for segments or for blocks, which is the one that it uses labview?

Hi Nicolás,

It depends on your CANopen slave device whether you just need block transfer or segmented SDO transfers. The documentation of the CANopen slave should clarify this. If you are using the CompactRIO system to build a CANopen slave, you don't have to implement the block transfer.
