Hi,
I am new to the DMM functionalities. I am using PXI-4071 DMM and doing a frequency measurement. I have set the frequency voltage range as AutoRange.ON.
As per the NI help,
AutoRange.ON: Configures the DMM to take an Auto Range measurement to calculate the voltage range before each frequency or period measurement.
So, i was expecting before every reading the frequency voltage range attribute value will change based on amplitude of previous signal. But the value always remains constant i.e. -1.0
Can anyone help me understand why frequency voltage range is not calculated each time though i have set it AutoRange.ON?
