USB-4065 current and voltage measurement

I have an application where I need to measure DC current and DC voltage. The current and voltage will be stable so the measurements don't need to be simultaneous. I'd like to use one USB-4065 to make both measurements. I saw the kb that states the voltage inputs must be disconnected when making a current measurement. Do the current inputs need to be disconnected when making a voltage measurement?

Hi Collin,

I believe you are referencing this KnowledgeBase.  After performing some testing and working with the R&D group, it appears that the effects of input connections are seen when going both ways.  When the current inputs are connected, a less accurate voltage reading occurs.  As such, please disconnect the current inputs when making a voltage measurement (as well as disconnecting the voltage inputs when taking a current measurement, which you are aware of).
