NI4351 and PCI6503 IRQ level errors

I have tried the suggestions on the discussion forums, but I am still getting "device is not responding to first IRQ level" error messages for both my NI4351 and PCI6503 devices. They previously worked fine on Windows 98, then I switched to Windows 2000 Professional, reinstalled everything, and I thought they were working fine. Then I turned off the computer for a while, turned it back on, and could no longer test or control my analog or digital channels. What can I do? We still have LabVIEW 5.1.1, so the phone/email support won't help.

Greetings,

Which version of NI-DAQ are you using? Did you move these boards to a different computer with Windows 2000 installed on it, or did you upgrade the Windows 98 computer? If you did upgrade, did you remove the boards before you upgraded?

I would suggest that you do the following:

1. Shutdown your computer and remove your boards.
2. Uninstall NI-DAQ and restart your computer.
3. Install version 6.9.3 of NI-DAQ.
4. Shutdown your computer and install one of your boards.
5. When you have verified that this board is working correctly, shutdown your computer and install the other board.

Below is a link to version 6.9.3 of NI-DAQ:

NI-DAQ Versi
on 6.9.3 for Windows 2000/95/98/ME/NT/XP
