NI 435x. The device is not responding to the first IRQ level."

My NI 435x board with TBX-68T has been in use for three years. It just stopped working. I'm using WinNT. When I try to test resources I get the error "The device is not responding to the first IRQ level". In the test panel, I get a device time-out error.

Hello,

Sometimes, this may happen with any device in the computer. One thing I would suggest is to shut down the computer, take out the card and put it back in, may be in a different slot and see what happens.

Please do let me know the result.

Sincerely,
Sastry V.

You can assign a fixed IRQ. Go to Device Manager under My PC (Win2K or XP). Go to 43xx properties and change settings under Resources tab. Deselect Use Automatic Settings and assign an IRQ with out conflicts.
