Driving HP 3478a DMM by LabView

Hi,

I'm using LabView 2012 student version in OSX 10.8.2. I already downloaded the driver from NI website. I pressed the run in the virtual interface, but didn't see any actions. Is there anything that I should check / initialize before I use the virtual interface? I attach the interface that I see from the screen. Thanks very much.

Hi,

After looking into the HP 3478A.vi, it appears a default GPIB address of 23 is used in the VI so if that is not the address of the connected DMM then you would not see any measurements. Below is a link to a Knowledge Base that shows how to find the GPIB address of listeners on your computer.

Once you have found the device address you can change it on the Block Diagram of the HP 3478A.vi.
