what is the different between 5620 and 5142.

i am trying to retreived the IQ information from 5142 card.  The output from the 5142 seem to is in term of series of bits. how to convert it to retreived only the IQ wavefrom as in 5620

Hi Weide,

Are you already trying with any example VIs found in LabVIEW?? I found MT niScope IO.vi in NI Example Finder. I believe this is what you are looking for. Do ensure that you have Modulation Toolkit installed to run this vi.

Hi Weide,

5660 is RF Vector Signal Analyzer and 5142 is Digitizer. The driver used for each device is different (NI-RFSA and NI-SCOPE respectively). Hence, the function used for each device is different. Therefore, vis written for 5660 cannot be used on 5142.

You can always go to NI Example Finder or our NI website to find any available vis for 5142. You can take them as a start and modify then to suit your application.
