what are the conditions where the daq may damage

i want to know what are tha conditions one should avoid to protect daq from damage

Can you be a little more specific as to the environment in which you are working? What is the assembly you are trying to control?

Where is the card to be placed and what is the working temperature and shock and other parameters associated with the setup.

If you can share that then it will be easy to tell you the conditions.
