triggering with PCI-6509 (C language programming)

I'm completely new to the digital acquisition data devices. I need to trigger an IEEE 1394 camera through the PCI 6509. I'm programming in C. Is there any example that could show me what shall I do? Could someone tell me what are the steps or the documentation I should check in order to start?

Take a look at the example folder of NI-DAQ:

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI-DAQ\Examples\VisualC\Do

In this folder all kinds of examples are listed on how to do Digital Output. Maybe this can help you understand the driver better.

Dear RikP,
thank you but I had already tried to run those examples, without succeeding. In fact, everytime I run one of them, I get the error message you can find in the attachment.

Provided that I'm using an Ni board (the PCI 6509) and I have the right version of the driver (NIDAQmx 7.2), the only thing that remains is that I'm not configuring properly the device through the Measurement & Automation Explorer.

At this point, I don't understand what shall I do, since I follow the instruction in the help in order to configure the device.

Do you know what can be the problem?
