how fast does usb-6509 switch an output vs pci-6509

Using standard laptop, labview 8.0 to usb-6509.

If I were to toggle an output repeatedly, from inside a while loop. How fast can I toggle the output(ball park accuracy is fine)

same question for pci-6509.

Hi jcagg,

The USB-6509 and PCI-6509 are both software timed. This means that the timing and speed will be dependent upon the execution rate of your program. This will largely be determined by your computer speed and will be on the order of milliseconds. Since the software timing is going to be far lower than the bandwidth of both the PCI bus and the USB bus, the speed should be the same for both devices.
