hardware-timed dio 6534

Hello,

everybody is talking about doing hardware-timed DIO using 6533/6534 but when I try to set the timing properties for a digital input to be hardware-timed using sample clock, Labview tells me I cannot use hardware-timed single point in "sample clock" mode.

Thank you for posting to the NI forums. Unfortunately hardware-timed single point is not a supported feature of the 6533/34. Hardware-timed single point is typically used for control related applications. You can do hardware timed DIO using finite or continuous sampling modes. Is there a specific reason that you were hoping to use hardware-timed single point? Thanks!
