changing 6501 port-pin assignments

I need to configure my USB-6501 such that the port channels connect to pins other than the factory configuration.  For example,  I want pin 18 to output P0.5 instead of P0.1.  Is this possible, and if so, how can I do it?

If you use a custom terminal block, you can wire anything you want.

Plan C is re-writing the code.

 

We already have 100 cables built, so I'd like to change it without building new cables, and without re-writing the code.
