From other commenters here it sounds like the communication protocol is MODBUS. There's some LabVIEW MODBUS VIs that can be found here: http://www.ni.com/example/29756/en/

There's also some general information on using the MODBUS protocol and getting started on this page: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/52204/en/

Did anybody have success in talking to an BINDER chamber over Modbus?

I have got the "Binder Interface Technical spec 10-2017" (PDF), but I would like to have an example hot to control and monitor chamber.

Could anybody give an example vi, please?

Thanks and BR

EW

It seems some users on this forum have had success by reaching out to Binder so I would definitely recommend you do that as well. Also, this forum thread is older and if you are looking to see if anyone on the NI forums has any helpful info I would recommend you create a new thread for the best chance at traffic.

Hi all,

Use this Vi this one worked for me.

Try once using port number 10001 and instrument ip Address.

Follow the user manual for the instrument which has the commands for different functions.

Thanks,

Rakesh
