Hello sierratec,
Whenever you have basic configuration questions about your
NI hardware, the first option is to always check in our Measurement Automation
Explorer program.
For example, to
determine if your PCI-1424 is LVDS or RS422, you can select the card under
Devices and Interfaces >> NI-IMAQ
Devices >> img0: PCI 1424.
Inside
the
Device Description window, the
information should be listed as “Signal Type”.
For your own reference, it does appear that
the PN 184164G-12 is an LVDS type.
