What is the basic procedure to input data from an ADC0804 using parallel port?

Hi,

I am a beginner to Labview software. I am trying to find out how to input data from an ADC0804 through parallel port for a temperature response circuit. Information through a step-wise basic procedure will be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.
