Understanding NI6528 - Reading back Output directly with Input - doesn't work

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi all,

For selftesting my equipment I'm trying to usa a NI 6528 output in Open/GND configuration and read this output back with an Input on the same NI 6528.

Why doesn't this work?

NI 6528

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Theoretically, it should work, could you please share how you tested this on the software side?

You can test this circuit directly from the Test Panels from NI MAX.

Hey Santo,

thank you for your reply.

I stopped further testing after I noticed that my attempt failed.

Meanwhile I tested the same configuration with another output "et voila". It's working as expected.

It seems that one of my outputs is dead. (3.7 like in my "drawing")

Thanks and best regards
