Take a look at this device. I have used it successfully in the field. It has a device driver on CD that comes with it, and allows the individual USB ports to show up in MAX.
Good luck,
Dave

Thanks a lot Dave. It will help to my requirement.
I have another query on this , if the ethernet port is removed and put back is there a possiblity that it stops working and i need to restart the PC?

I can't say that I have made that specific test deliberately, but during commissioning on site we had several instances where the E-Net circuit was interrupted ( one time was a bad hookup by a third party with a laptop that used a duplicate I/P address), and after conditions were rectified, the system came back by itself. I did not have to do any rebooting, so I would tentatively say that your system would probably auto-recover as well. I imagine that the definitive answer to this might well be site specific, so you will have to test it for yourself.
As I mentioned in my previous post, I found this device to be very hardware friendly, and from your description of your application, you should be well served.
Good luck,
Dave

Good afternoon:
I have to assume that you mean using 2 different PC's running Labview/MAX to access the remote DAQ on the USB Anywhere interface. If you were tryiing to acess the same USB device from 2 PC's, I would suspect it would conflict, although I have not specifically tried this. If you were accessing a second USB DAQ device on another port of the USB Anywhere, then It probably would be ok, but again, I have not tried this. The hardware is installed/running in a high-use environment where I do not have unlimited walk-in or experimental access, so, unfortunately, cannot test this out. For this type of question, you should address B&B Electronics; they have an excellent technical service deptartment, and have probably covered this before.
Good luck,
Dave
