I have read all the posts about loading DAQmx and distrubuting an application that uses the USB 6501 DIO system. Most of the posts are dated 2007. Has the situation changed any? I would like to distribute an application that utilizes the above mentioned board, but would like a simpler install than having to send out a 200+ MB file.
I am using CVI 9.0 demo, which does not have the distribution system active, so it is difficult for me to explore the possibilities. I am considering upgrading, but not if I have to use the above method to install distribution kits. My old version 5.0.1 works just fine and creats a nice 2Mb zip distribution kit that is easily downloadable. I will replace the USB 6501 with a different device.
