The user manual for the DaqPad-6508 specifies that each of the ports APA-APC,BPA-BPC,CPA-CPC,DPA-DPC can be configured as input or output. From my experiance programming this device with labview it appears that I am only able to specify the direction at the PPI level. For example, I tried to configure APA as input and then APB as output, but when configuring APB for output, APA also gets switched to output. Can each individual 8 bit port within a particular PPI be configured as input or output independently without affecting the other ports within that PPI? If so how do I do that because I have not been able to do that to this point.
