PXI-6570 Max Safe Voltage

Hi All,

What is the maximum safe voltage for a PXI-6570?

I know that 6 V is the maximum voltage that PXI-6570 can output, but what is the maximum voltage that it can withstand?  Can it withstand 8 V?

It can support up to 7V in extended range but anything above will trigger an over-voltage shutdown.

If your external circuit can go up to 8V it is recommended to isolate them using an electromechanical relay to avoid irrecoverable damage to your instrument.

Better to add a couple of $ worth relay safety circuits than damage an expensive $$$ equipment.
