I get an error -10401 when I start Labview

I have just upgraded to W2K. The PCI-6503 appears to work ok from automation explorer but when I start Labview it gives me error -10401: unknownDeviceError. It says "The specified device is not a National Instruments product, the driver does not support the device." However, when I go to Measurement and Automation Explorer, the device is there and responds correctly to the resource test. I have tried restarting Labview with the same results.

Make sure that the device number associated with the PCI-6503 in Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) is the same as the device number in your LabVIEW program. You will receive the -10401 error if you are pointing LabVIEW to a non-existent device. I hope this helps.
