How to test digital input on USB 6008

Hello!

 

I am a new in Labview. I don`t know how to test digital inputs on USB 6008! I tried this:

 

1. Open the example Read Dig Chan.vi

2.Connect the +5V refference with P0.0

3. Run the example

 

The boolean LED is always green even if refference(+5V) is connected or not with P0.0 . Where I go wrong?

To test it, why don't you connect a gnd as well as +5? I don't remember what the 6008 has on the inputs. If there are pullups, an open will float to a high.

Yes you haved right! My mistake! When I connect GND to P0.0 the boolean LED is goinf OFF. Thank you for support!
