The number of DIO-32HS boards you can have in your system will simply depend on your system resources. As long as the system can provide enough resources for X number of cards you can have as many cards as there are slots available.

Several people design systems with multiple DAQ cards and max out the number of DAQ cards by filling all the PCI slots.
