Getting istatus Error String without NIDAQErrorHandler

I would like to be able to get the error string associated with the istatus return value without having to use the NIDAQErrorHandler function.

Currently the only access to the error code database is through the NIDAQErrorHandler function. Was there some functionality you were looking for that is not present in the current Error Handler?
