Extern handshaking for output data of DIO-32HS using VB4

Hallo developers,
how can I latch intern data (32-bit) with external signal? Which handshake modus is recommended? Which Input can I use for an external comparator signal. What VB-commands have I to use? Can anybody help me?

Robin,

I would recommend using Pattern Generation Output on the 653x (DIO-32HS) board. Then set the DIG_Block_PG_Config function call to look for an external clock for output operations.

You would set up the output port to a 32-bit port and connect the external clock to the REQ 1 pin of the 653x device.

Examples for doing Pattern Generation in VB can be installed through the NI-DAQ driver when you choose to install support for VB.
