Does NI support I2C bus?

Philips developped a DLL to interface the I2C bus through the parallel port. It works very well and needs only a very simple hardware interface.

I don't think it would be a good idea to mention here the e-mail of the person who sent me (and probably wrote) this driver. I suggest you to search for "I2C" for the 1998 digests at

and you will find it.

That's right. NI doesn't support it. If you really want to though, I've communicated with an I2C device using NI's DIO-24 card. I've never tried the DLL mentioned above, but I wish I heard about it before writing an I2C library in Labview.

Can you tell me more detail about the communication an I2C device with NI's DIO-24 card?
My measurement system connects computer through DIO-24 card, and I just bought an I2C device to let them work together.
I'm not familar with electric circuit. How to use the I2C device is a problem to me. If possible, I don't want to use the parallel port.
