I2C is possible, but requires additional hardware.

NI offers the USB-8451. My company uses something called the Aardvark I2C/SPI Host Adapter with good success.

Both of these devices use drivers that must be installed before you can begin communicating using I2C.

Hi

Just to let you know, I2C is supported by all versions of LabVIEW later than 7.1, although as Phillip posted, an I2C/SPI interface such as the USB-8451 would be required for communication by I2C. Hope this helps, don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any other queries.
