DIO-96 Use the Port 5 lines for creating Square 25kHz waveform

Hi:

I have a PCI-DIO96 board in which I have to create three square waveforms 1) a 25kHz, 2) and 3) a 250 Hz waveforms. The Fixture Designer has selected port5/line6 for the 25 kHz and port5/line1 and port5/line4 to create the waveforms.

The three signals have to be applied for around 5 seconds and at the other side of the circuit I am aquiring the three processed waveforms.

Can you please give me a reference for doing this. I have tried the samples included in CVI-DAQmx, I don't have an external trigger for creating these three signals.

Since the digital I/o is software timed, you just might be able to do the 250Hz but I don't think you will come close to 25kHz.

Have you tried the WriteDigChan.prj example? The DAQmxWriteDigitalLines could be put inside a loop. See how fast it runs. It will have lots of jitter and the rate will depend on your OS, what else is running, the pc, etc.
