I have a DIO-32HS digital aquisition card which I wish to use to read 12V CMOS signals. In the specifications part of the manual under Digital I/O Compatibility the compatibility is listed as TTL/CMOS (standard or open collector). However, directly below this the maximum input high voltage is given as 5V (i.e. TTL). What's going on here? Is it OK to put a 12V CMOS signal directly into the board?
Many Thanks, Tim Hattrell
