Is it allowed to connect an output with low-Signal and an output with high-Signal of PCI-DIO96. In the manual I found only, that it is not allowed to connect +5V to GND.
You shouldn't tie any two output pins together. If they have opposite polarity, the high output will attempt to drive the low output and may damage that port.
