Change sample rate on PCI-6221

How can I to determine and change the sampling rate a NI PCI-6221 device?  I am using a LabVIEW 8.2.1 software.

Thank you for posting to the NI Forums. Is there a specific program that you are running with LabVIEW 8.2.1 and your PCI-6221? Most of the examples we have for Digital I/O are software timed and therefore will only take samples when the software instructs the card to acquire samples. We do have examples of hardware timed Digital I/O and I have attached one to the bottom of this post. When using Hardware-Timed Digital I/O the counter on the PCI-6221 is used as the time base for the Digital I/O Task. If you have any other questions about this issue please let me know.
