Can I Use an PCI-6601 Counter/Timer Board to Drive an SSR Relay Module?

I am reading the signal of an encoder with a PCI-6601 Counter/Timer Board. Additionally I need to read 13 digital 120VAC inputs and drive 12 digital 120VAC outputs. Can I use the same PCI-6601 to read and output the I/O signals through ssr backplanes with SSR-IAC5 for inputs and and SSR-OAC5 for outputs?

Greetings,

The DIO lines of your DAQ device need to be able to drive SSR-OAC5. The SSR-OAC5 is specified at needing a minimum input current of 12mA. There are some devices that are unable to meet this specification, but the PCI-6601 board is not one of them. You may refer to the following Knowledge Base entry for more information.

Why Can't SSR Output Modules Be Used with Certain DAQ Devices?

The PCI-6601 has 32 DIO lines. You should not have a problem controling the SSR-IAC5 and SSR-OAC5 from the same device.
