I would like to take the NI C68-C68-D4 VHDCI cable assembly and change one end of it to terminate into a 25-pin IDC connector (as opposed to building a custom cable from scratch). I am using a PCIe-6536 DIO card to replace a legacy NI product, and unfortunately changing the peripheral on the other end is not an option.
I would just cut off the end of one of the standard cables and buzz it out to match colors to pins (assuming they are color coded), but the cable isn't cheap, and at the moment I don't have one on hand.
I considered using an intermediate adapter board, but I I'm hoping to avoid going that route.
Thanks!
Mike

Hi Mike,
Yes, I believe that the wires are color coded. Good luck making heads or tails of all the wires!
