Front panel popping up for a short time when starting new clone

Solved!
Go to solution

HI!

I recently ran into a very strange behavior when I start a new clone from a DQMH clonable module. Even though I start them with "external launch = true" and an basically untouched initialization step in the MHL I can see each clones front panel popping up and closing right away. They work as they should but the behavior of the front panel seems not right. Maybe I miss something obvious but I can't fix this issue. Right now I'm starting ~30 clones one after another so you can imagine how this will look like for the user 🙂

Edit: I recently upgraded from DQMH 5.0.0.72 to 6.0.0.83

Hey Jens,

I created a new, plain project and added a vanilla DQMH cloneable module (DQMH 6.0.0.83). I'm sorry to say that I can't reproduce what you're seeing on your end.

Can you try the code I attached (LV2016) and see if that one works for you, or if you see strange behaviour there, too?

Thanks,

Joerg

Hi!

Your project works just fine like all my other ones too. When I create a new one I have no issues at all it's only happening with my "old" module .. very strange.

Edit:

Here we go .... "Show front panel when called" was selected ... really embarrassing 🙄 I have no clue why this option is selected cause I never changed anything in this dialogue ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks for you time anyway.

Good stuff that we could get to the bottom of it. I'm always happy to help!
