x-axis in middle of plot after setting scaling to fully automatic in Report

Solved!
Go to solution

Is there a way to fix the x-axis to the bottom of the plot area without doing so manually?

After putting some curves into a Report plot and setting the y-axis scaling to "Fully Automatic", the x-axis sometimes (not always) is lined up with the 0 on the y-axis, but I want the axis to always be at the bottom of the plot area. However, if I manually adjust the scaling even a tiny amount, the axis snaps to the bottom of the plot area where I want it. I am making many plots, so correcting them all by hand is not a solution.

Hello cdbocksti,

If you use any grid for the axis system, the x-axis will be aligned to the bottom of the 2D axis system.

Hi All,

You can also go to the Axis Position tab (the one in the middle) and specify there to have the X and/or the Y axis pinned to bottom and/or left of the graph, even without a grid.  I end up doing that a lot, because I like the open axis system.
