time differences in VISUAL wiper display

Hello,

I noticed the following appearance in a DIAdem VISUAL wiper display:

When it’s fed with a simulated data signal (given at 1 Hz) and the floating average of this signal (average about last 5 values) then the average signal is displayed 5 seconds in the future.

In the attached screenshot the red curve is the original signal and the black curve is the floating mean value of it.

How can that be?

Regards, Eric

Hello,

could you also attach some screenshots of DAC and how you generate the curves?

thanks

Best regards

Richard

A screenshot of a DAC scheme that creates the problem is attached.

But I already solved the problem. The simulated signal block (in this case the stopwatch) and the floating mean value block need to be connected to the same clock. Then there is noch more time delay in the wiper display.
