I've created TDMS files in LabVIEW with a time channel.  I know the time channel is UTC because I specified it when I read the time from my timing card (6682).  In DIAdem Windows seems to override the time and display it according to the time zone setting.  How can I avoid this without creating a new time channel in DIAdem and giving it a UTC fudge factor?

  • TDMS format is defined to store UTC time stamps.
  • DIAdem uses local time at all places.
  • If a TDMS file is loaded to DIAdem the time stamps are converted to local time
  • If a TDMS file is written timestamps are converted to UTC

There is no way to avoid the conversion. DIAdem is defined to work with local time.
