Dataplugin : Changing name of channel in VBS

Hi Group,

I have a Dataplugin that I am have working to read data from a binary file into data portal.

What I would like to do is to process specific channels in Dataplugin, and make new channels, then either delete or rename the old channels.

So far, I have not found a way to  delete or rename the old/original channels  

Is this possible and if so I would appreciate some guidance.

Hi Group,

Was able to try harder, and found a way to remove the original channel.
