DIAdem view not showing correct data plots

Hello,

I am having troubles with the Diadem software when used with LabVIEW. I wrote a basic LabVIEW block diagram so that I can verify if Diadem is working properly. The code just simulates a Sin signal and creates or opens a TDMS file for viewing in Diadem. When I use the TDMS viewer through LabVIEW everything is correct when viewing the wave, however when I export that data or try to view through Diadem completely wrong or different data is shown. I have tried to repair Diadem through the package manager however that is giving me issues as well as the remove Diadem completely. My thought process right now is to uninstall the package manager and once reinstalled attempt reinstallation of Diadem as an issue might have happened when I installed the first time. Below is my block diagram, my Diadem simulation, and the TDMS viewer simulation. If anything else is needed please let me know. Thank you.

The TDMS file that you created and information on the DIAdem version you use would be helpful.

The DIAdem version I am using is the 2024 Q4 Version which should be the newest version. I have tried other versions and have gotten the same error/issues with all. I have uploaded the TDMS file that I used to test data as well. The file was created using the same code as in the picture provided.  Thank you!

Hi @Ahmed_K18

I opened the example file and the data is shown as expected using DIAdem 2024 Q4:

Is the error replicable on other systems?

Is this issue occuring with any other datatype (i.e. TDM Files)?

Hi @OscarCardenasNI

I have not gotten the error on other systems I have tested. I have the same issue with all types of files that I try to observe through DIAdem. I am only able to observe the example files that are installed with DIAdem properly, but any other file is either blank or showing the wrong results. If you have any labview files to run so that you can test I can run them as well.

Hi @Ahmed_K18

It would be worth to review the installation of DIAdem. Is DataFinder working properly? If feasible please try to open a service request to troubleshoot this issue.

I have created the following test file (TDMS) using a similar LabVIEW code as yours for testing.

Regards

I did review the installation and did not see any issues. I can go forward with another installation of DIAdem because the problem could be with the data finder however, I am unsure of how to resolve the issue. When running the Test.tdms file the results were the same and nothing was shown.

No problem with your file and any of the DIAdem versions I have installed on my PC (2014 to 2024 Q4).
