DIAdem 8.x LVD view file conversion using ImportLVD.vbs script

Hi,

I'm currently rewriting scripts from a DIAdem 8.x instance to DIAdem 2011, when trying to convert an old view LVD file to View object Sheets using the Libr/Documents/ImportLVD.vbs it looks like the VWImportLVD function isn't available anymore if including the encrypted VBC fle Resources/VwServices.vbc. As the script fails, indicating that the Call VWImportLVD(FileDlgName)     'VWImportLVD is an undefined variable'.

Anyone know (have experience) if VWImportLVD()  has moved resource files or if  I'm expecting too much going from 8.x to 11.x like this?

Hi Mark,

There were a number of releases between DIAdem 8 to DIAdem 2011 so you have to bear in mind that many features in the DIAdem engine were changed.

It might be better to upgrade in stages i.e version 8.x -> 9.1 ->10.1-> 11.
