Crash Analysis: XMS

Solved!
Go to solution

Greetings,

I've seen a strange behaviour in crash analysis toolkitXMS (3 ms for instance) calculation. I've found that sometimes the AC value "in one peak" is greater than "in multiple peaks"; I fail to understand it.

I thought in multiple peaks should be at least equal as in one peak, if not greater. What I'm missing?

Hi thaloz,

this difference is depending upon mathematical differences in the algorithms. "Calculation in one peek" is interpolating between two sampling points and "Calculation including all peaks" is restricted to the x-values of the sampling points.
