Cannot acquire with cDAQ in hardware timed mode using DIAdem DAC

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi all,

I'm using DIAdem DAC to acquire from cDAQ+9225+9219. 9219 is acquiring using single point mode which works fine. However, I tried to acquire 50kHz waveform from 9225 with the attached dac file. However, I found a problem about the clock block as shown below.

How could I solve this problem and acquire waveform with 9225 using DIAdem DAC?

Hello Kate,

You need to connect the NIDAQ-In1 block output with the save block. In addition you should change the settings from the Clock1 block. The NI hardware is always measured in the "DAC-Kernal" mode. The "Software clock" is used for clock rates up to 10 kHz (depending on the hardware and the PC). If you like to measure faster you can use the "Hardware clock" mode.

Greetings

Walter
