After installation on new notebook Diadem 6.02 crashes during startup: Runtime error 216 at 000022EA

Due to change of hardware Diadem 6.02 had to be installed on new Notebook with W2K. New hardlock device driver was also installed. When starting Diadem
this crashes during startup issuing the message: Runtime error 216 at 000022EA. On a very similar notebook (only less memmory) this runs without problems.

Hi,

It?s difficult to answer this question without more information. Do you have administrator access to the PC? (You need this at least for the first start of DIAdem.) Do you launch DIAdem with the default configuration or do you have a special one e.g. a big data matrix? How much memory ? RAM and hard drive ? does the PC have? If you launch DIAdem a lock file named ?dem_errs.001? is created. Do you find any further information in this file?
